<h2>CHAPTER 7. SPELLS</h2>

<p>Some creatures can cast spells. The format is as follows:</p>
|
|
<ul>

|
<li><code>h</code> Spell Name w 【Magic Check】 w MP cost w Target w Duration.</li>
|
|
<li>Spell effect.</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
<p>Key definitions:<br>
|
|
<ul>
|
|
<li><code>w h</code> indicates that this is a spell and requires the Spell action.</li>
|
|
<li><code>w</code> If <code>rr</code> is present next to the spell's name, it is an offensive spell.</li>
|
|
<li><code>w【Magic Check】</code> indicates which Attributes must be rolled for the Magic Check (if the spell is an offensive spell).</li>
|
|
<li><code>w MP cost</code> indicates the spell's cost in Mind Points.</li>
|
|
<li><code>w Target</code> indicates the spell's possible target or targets.</li>
|
|
<li><code>w Duration</code> indicates whether the spell is instantaneous or lasts for the scene.</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
<p>Finally, the effects of the spell are described in the text. If the spell features an opportunity option, it will be listed here. Some spells have effects that change if the creature casting them is a higher level — this is mentioned in the text.</p>
|
|

<h2>CHAPTER 8. OTHER ACTIONS</h2>
|
|
<p>Some creatures have unique actions they can perform, listed using the format below:</p>

<li><code>S</code> Action Name w Action effect.</li>

<li><code>w S</code> indicates that this effect requires the Skill action.</li>
|
|
<li>The effects of this unique action are then explained in detail.</li>
|

</ul>

<p>This section lists any unique features and passive or reactive Skills they may possess, such as the ability to counterattack or fly.</p>
