This chapter provides a bird’s eye view of Fabula Ultima’s approach to
natural fantasy worlds. Both Players and Game Masters are welcome to read it
– it contains valuable tools for both roles.

in-depth examples of natural fantasy locations, each detailed first as a
narrative archetype, and then as a collection of playable hooks.

natural fantasy, from both narrative and rules perspectives.

magic and supernatural entities in natural fantasy worlds, and what they
represent.

the role of technology and craftsmanship in natural fantasy worlds,
including new rules to create items from raw materials.

Rare Items and Artifacts: The chapter’s last two sections
focus on rare items and artifacts you might find in a natural fantasy
setting. As well as general advice, there are also a number of
ready-to-use item lists.
